Dr. Christian Kleanthous is a qualified General Practitioner (GP) with a diverse background in sports medicine, trauma, orthopaedic surgery, and musculoskeletal (MSK) medicine. He holds an IBSc in Neuroscience from University College London (UCL) and has completed extensive postgraduate training in trauma and orthopaedics. His passion for sports medicine has led him to serve as a team doctor across multiple professional sports, including FA league football, field hockey, ice hockey, and rugby. Dr. Kleanthous has also provided medical support at the Rio Olympics and London Marathon, further highlighting his expertise in high-stakes, performance-driven environments.
In his GP practice, Dr. Kleanthous worked extensively with urgent cancer referrals, where he witnessed first-hand the transformative impact of early diagnosis. Whether managing musculoskeletal injuries threatening an athlete’s career or life-threatening cancers, he recognised that rapid access to advanced diagnostic technology was crucial for optimal patient outcomes. This insight led him to join TIC Health, initially shaping medical operations to improve diagnostic services. Since 2022, he has been serving as CEO, driving forward innovative diagnostic solutions to revolutionise patient care for private and NHS patients.
