Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

TIC Health is committed to ensuring that modern slavery, in all its forms, including slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking, does not take place in any part of our business or supply chains. We recognize our responsibility to be transparent in our efforts to tackle these issues and aim to operate ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

Our Business and Supply Chains

TIC Health is a leading provider of healthcare services and products. Our operations are primarily based in the United Kingdom, with some services and commercial relationships extending into the European Union.

Our supply chains include the procurement of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals and contrast media, clinical staffing (including agency provision), outsourced reporting services, administrative services, and facility management.

Policies and Commitments

To combat modern slavery, TIC Health has implemented the following policies and practices:

  1. Code of Conduct: Our Code of Conduct clearly states our commitment to ethical business practices and the prohibition of any form of modern slavery within our operations and supply chains
  2. Supplier Code of Conduct: All suppliers are required to adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct, which mandates compliance with laws related to labour practices, including the prohibition of forced labour and human trafficking
  3. Due Diligence: We conduct regular due diligence on our supply chains to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to modern slavery. This includes risk assessments, supplier audits, and corrective action plans where necessary
  4. Training and Awareness: We provide training to our employees and suppliers to raise awareness of modern slavery issues and to ensure that they understand their role in preventing it
  5. Reporting and Whistleblowing: We have established a confidential whistleblowing mechanism that allows employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders to report any concerns related to modern slavery without fear of retaliation
  6. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: We engage with industry groups, NGOs, and other stakeholders to stay informed of best practices and continuously improve our efforts to combat modern slavery

Risk Assessment and Management

We regularly review and assess the risks of modern slavery in our business and supply chains. Our risk assessment process includes:

  • Mapping our supply chains to identify areas with higher risks of modern slavery
  • Engaging with suppliers to understand their practices and policies regarding labour rights
  • Conducting on-site audits and inspections of suppliers where high risks are identified
  • Implementing corrective actions and support for suppliers to improve their practices

Effectiveness and Performance Monitoring

To ensure the effectiveness of our policies and actions, we:

  • Monitor and measure our progress through key performance indicators (KPIs) related to modern slavery
  • Review our policies and practices regularly to ensure they remain effective and aligned with legal requirements and best practices
  • Report annually on our efforts to combat modern slavery in our business and supply chains

Conclusion

TIC Health is dedicated to playing its part in the global fight against modern slavery. We will continue to review and enhance our policies, practices, and partnerships to ensure that we operate with the highest standards of integrity and respect for human rights.
